Liquidity Pools

Dozer Finance's liquidity pools enable users to provide liquidity and participate in the platform's trading ecosystem. Our pools are inspired by Uniswap v2 but optimized for low fees and instant finality.

Understanding Liquidity Pools

What are Liquidity Pools?

Liquidity pools are smart contracts that hold pairs of tokens, allowing users to:

  • Trade between token pairs

  • Provide liquidity to earn fees

  • Participate in the platform's growth

Pool Features

  • Zero-fee transactions for simple operations

  • Instant finality for all operations

  • MEV protection through transaction ordering

  • Real-time pool statistics and monitoring

Pool Operations

Adding Liquidity

To add liquidity to a pool:

  1. Navigate to the Pool section

  2. Select the token pair

  3. Enter the amount for one token

  4. The interface will automatically calculate the required amount of the second token

  5. Click in "Add Liquidity" and review details

  6. Approve the transaction in your wallet

  7. Receive LP tokens representing your pool share

Removing Liquidity

To remove your liquidity:

  1. Go to your active pools

  2. Select the pool you want to exit

  3. Choose the amount of liquidity you want to remove

  4. Click in "Remove Liquidity"

  5. Approve the transaction

  6. Receive your tokens back

Pool Economics

Fee Structure

  • Trading fees: 0.3% per swap

  • Protocol fees: Configurable percentage of trading fees

  • Zero platform fees for simple operations

Earning as a Liquidity Provider

Liquidity providers earn through:

  • A share of the trading fees proportional to their pool contribution

  • Additional incentives during promotional periods

Technical Details

Pool Initialization

  • Pools require initial deposits of both tokens

  • Initial price is determined by the first liquidity provider

Pool Calculations

Pool prices are dynamically determined by the token reserves using the automated market maker (AMM) formula x * y = k. To protect users, we implement slippage protection through minimum output amounts, ensuring fair trade execution.

Price Impact

Our interface provides real-time price impact information before trade confirmation. While smaller trades typically have minimal impact, larger trades may experience more significant price effects. This transparency helps users make informed trading decisions.

Pool Management

Viewing Pool Statistics

Monitor your pool performance through our comprehensive dashboard, which displays current liquidity, volume, fees earned, your pool share, and maximum withdrawal amounts. This information helps you make informed decisions about your liquidity positions.

Tracking Rewards

Our platform provides detailed tracking of your accumulated trading fees, current pool positions, and total value locked (TVL). This transparency ensures you can always monitor your earnings and position value.

Best Practices

Before Providing Liquidity

  1. Understand impermanent loss

  2. Have sufficient amounts of both tokens

  3. Review pool statistics and volume

  4. Check current pool ratios

Risk Management

We recommend starting with smaller amounts to familiarize yourself with the system. Regular monitoring of your positions is essential, as pool ratios can change based on market conditions. Stay informed about market movements that might affect your liquidity position.
